A Magical Hill Country Wedding at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas

I couldn’t have put it better when describing Rebecca and Daniel’s wedding day at Vista West Ranch last year in beautiful Dripping Springs, Texas. I had the honor of being their wedding videographer for the day and although New Beginnings Films is based in Austin, Texas, we have no problem at all traveling to explore the endless possibilities of the Texas hill country weddings. You could easily tell by the smiles on their faces just how excited they were to finally spend the rest of their lives together hand in hand! I was fortunate enough to work alongside with wedding photographer Arol Horkavy of AJH Photography and think the teamwork paid off big with the incredible shots we were both able to achieve!
I was asked by Rebecca if I’d be willing to try something a little more experimental in terms of editing her wedding video. I was a little hesitant at first to be honest as I didn’t want to disappoint her expectations but once I started to have fun with the process… I ended up finding a new love in “double exposures” (blending two images together to create an overlapping effect). The results can turn an ordinarily good looking shot into something more magical! I have already fallen in love with being a wedding videographer in Austin, Texas but I’m always looking to improve and try new things.
